We are currently open to fiction submissions

Rose Literary represents fiction and narrative non-fiction with a particular interest in distinctive voices and work that engages meaningfully with the world around us.

 

While our taste is rooted in contemporary commercial and upmarket fiction, we are open to the best of genre writing where there is a strong voice and a compelling hook.

What to Send

Please email us your submission with:

​

  • a covering letter introducing yourself and your manuscript / project

  • a short synopsis (1–2 pages)

  • the first three chapters or up to 10,000 words

  • any relevant details, including why specifically you would like to be represented by Rose Literary

Responses

We aim to respond to submissions within 2–6 weeks. We regret that we are unable to respond to requests for updates within this timeframe.

Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we are not always able to provide individual feedback.

​

We are happy to consider simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if your work is offered representation elsewhere.
