Khadija Rose
Founder & Agent
Khadija Rose is the founder of Rose Literary. She has worked in publishing for over a decade across literary scouting, international rights, editorial, publicity, marketing, and export sales, developing a broad understanding of how books travel from manuscript to global readership.
Khadija's work has included international positioning and rights sales for authors such as Helen Garner, Kate Grenville, Peter Temple, Elizabeth Kostova, Tim Flannery, Lloyd Jones, Graeme Simsion, Nina Kenwood, Robbie Arnott and Ellena Savage. Through the sale of translation, audio and film rights, and her work with literary festivals, literary magazines and book clubs, Khadija has a clear sense of how stories connect with readers beyond the page.

Through Rose Literary, Khadija represents distinctive voices in fiction and narrative non-fiction. Drawing on her cross-disciplinary background, Khadija works closely with authors to build publishing strategies that consider both domestic publication and global rights from the outset.

When she's not reading or travelling, you can find Khadija eating cheese and watching trashy television with her poodle.
